Mud, I've been running the Tymar airfilter set up for 7-8 years, NEVER had dirt in the tube. Plenty of filter for it to breath through! The IH engine rep saw it at my dealer one time and told me how much better it was than Fords design. He was by several people that day about warranty, he said he saw no problem. I have some friends with K&N units, too big of a pain for me, and too easy to mess up on taking care of them correctly. Just my opinion -
