my grandpa who just passed away at 83 used to tell of the day when he ran his first diesel tractor at 12 cent's per gallon.. hard to believe he was getting 25 gallon to every one we are getting now with all our technology. i am only 32 but i remember farm diesel at 59 cents in our area. now it is 2.75 road fuel is 3.99 and unleaded is at 3.40 in central indiana..
