I am also from Manitoba. Those prices are similar to what we are paying at Virden (which incidentally is the oil capital of Manitoba). What I have learned over the years is that Canadian gas (at least in my vehicles) gets better mileage from any given volume of gas than US gas. This is only based on driving in Minnesota, Michigan, N Dakota, S Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Arizona. Good thing I drove in all those states in the past: probably won't be able to in the future.
By the way Manitoba is not really all that flat. Some parts of it are anything but.
