$3.49 per gallon for regular here in New York. I bet it will be over $5 by next year.
The gas price is only one small issue. The price of everything that's moved by tractor-trailer, farm costs of petroleum based fertilizers, herbicides, etc. and all the people heating their homes with oil and LP, etc.
Makes me want to start driving my firewood-powered truck (collector gas conversion).
