Capitalism gave us 12 and 14 hr workdays, at subsistence wages, the 29 (and other) crashes, the Insull hearings, etc)...
Reduced regulation gave us the S&L debacle...and Enron...and now, the Housing/credit crunch (crash?)...and do we want to reduce the FDA?? (so you never know what's been left in or added to the food you and your kids are eating?)...or the FAA (leaving to the airlines how much time/money to spend on aircraft maintenance??
CONTROLLED Capitalism is wonderful (what a pity we can't agree on the controls!!).
