All diesel fues in Minnesota are 2% for over a year.
If this is certified fuel, and not some home-brew, it should be good for the engine - the soy adds lubricity that the ultra low sulfur stuff lost.
(If it's home-brew, folks have different ideas of what is biodiesel; some are straight frier oil which needs to be handled differently in your fuel system, some are doing their own processing & it's up to them to have good quality control....)
Only thing is that it does clean out the gunk in the fuel system, do you can plan on getting a dirty fuel filter earlier than normal.
Everything else is a plus on any blend up to 20%. Lot of folks are going up to 505 even, but sounds like good to go in all cases at 20% or less.
