First of all, get one that has NO removable caps to add water; sompletely sealed except for small air vent hole. fI have had best luck with batteries made by East Penn Mfg. You may see EPM on the battery. O'Riellys batteries are made by them. Deka batteries are EPM. My Miller Bobcat 225 welder has a Kohler 18 HP V-Twin. Has the original Deka battery. Bought welder new in 1999. Have never had to even clean the battery posts, clean as new, absolutely no corrosion after 9 years. Tom
