Ferrel gas bought out a local gas company ( Brand X) about 3 years ago.
The local Coop picked up about 500 new customers that were Ferrel gas after the buyout of Brand X.
2 other local companies picked up about 400 customers also. Out of the orginal 1800 customers Brand X had, Ferrel is down to 900 and still losing daily.
Coop has hired 3 of their employees. Added 1 route truck and traded another single axle 3200 gal, for a tandum axle 5400 gal truck to keep up with the new customers. Coop is now up to 4 route trucks
Ferrel buying Brand X was the best thing that ever happen to the Coop and other locals.
I feel sorry for the employees of Brand X that stayed with Ferrel after the buyout.
But out of the 10 employees that worked for Brand X only about 2 of the orginals remain. Rest got fed up and left. Ferrel bought 4 route trucks with the purchase of Brand X and are now down to 2 trucks.
Everything you guys have said on here about Ferrel, has happened right here also.
