Oh I know all the different view points but in 1980 we were told forget the well ,there is no water. My dad had a friend who was a legend in this area . We got him here and he directed the rather outspoken driller 200 feet southeast from the drill rig and the driller said that was the kookiest thing he will ever do in his life. He drilled the hole and cased it and he was the most quiet person during the whole episode eating crow. The well has produced 1000 gallons a minute since then without changing the static water level. The well driller put the witcher on his payroll and produced wells all over the midwest where no water was to be had supposedly.Unfortunately both the driller and witcher are deceased now. I am not in the Ogallala aquifer. I am in the lower James/Missouri aquifer. Thanks for the input . Keep it coming.
