I always use a can of starting fluid. We had a huge yellow jacket Nest in our Barn and in our stacked straw. One can of starting fluid killed them all. And for the yellow jackets that make nests in the ground, it only takes 1/2 cup of gasoline to kill them. Just pour it in the hole at night and let the fumes do the rest.
