around here, seems like the only interest is in the "get rich quick" metals- aluminum, copper and lead. I have several auto repair shops, and can't hardly remove a bent aluminum wheel without someone at the door ready to pick it up...same with buckets of used wheel weights and battery cores. but tote off the brake drums and rotors? not on your life! County condemned 6 houses last year to build a resevoir- everyone of them got broke into and stripped of copper plumbing and wiring. I'm reading that these jokers are being found electrocuted now, as they're trying to pull live wires and getting zapped in the process.
