YES! I've had that plastic line crack because the oil runs out of the tube when the engine is off and I think the cold weather may be what cracked it. I was surpised it was used on my Cat but got some adaptors and used a suitable small, lower pressure hydraulic hose instead with the push on type brass connectors. A mechanic suggested I also put a hose clamp on just for safe measure. The air filter indicator uses the same tubing but isn't as critical as the oil pressure line. I do check it every time when I have the side cover off. Dave
