There is a easy solution to this problem, I sell on ebay as well and have thought about this. The simple solution is that no item leaves your possesion without the funds clearing first. Make that statement on all your auctions when you list anything. I have got lines from people like this as well on hay sales,not worded the same but you could tell, emailed them back with the terms and have never heard another word, most times I mention the scammers and wish them all the pain and suffering in the world, don' reckon that kinda ticks them off do ya, lol. Hope so!
