Wow how things sure change. I remember being poed that we were off peak electric. So far we are running $120 mo on the electric heat and about 100 month on the corn for the corn stove. And thats Minnesota. So I guess we dont have it too bad. Of course I purchased the corn when it was cheap. $2 bushel. I help a friend unload coal for his furnace. It heats hot water and that runs over to his forced air furnace. Cost him about $4 a day to run it. I might look into that for my next heating idea.
