I use a smaller wood furnace than that to heat my 1400 sqft home. But mine's in the basement.
I think you'd lose some heat in the ductwork outside, since it doesn't look to be insulated.
And it looks like it'd be easily removed in the off-season, so why involve your insurance company in the decision-making?
Speaking of insurance... They wanted to know how mine was installed, who did it, when, what the chimney looked like, and how close to the walls it was. They also asked about double-walled pipe anywhere it goes through a wall. And that was State Farm I was dealing with. So I think they should be pretty fine with this installation.
