Yes and no. All lead acid batteries are pretty much the same, but like it was explained to me one time while with my brother shopping for a battery, it depends on the quality.
Every battery manufacturer has atleast 2 different batteries, the economy ones that are the same physical size, yet they have fewer plates and can produce less CCA and crank time than their premium batteries that have more capacity.
With that said, we'd ussually go to Sam's club and get a Champion battery. ONe in my truck is atleast 6 years old and still going strong. I'd venture to guess it's 7 years old. One in our 285 Massey is probably 8 years old and is still going strong too.
