I used to run one of those back when I was in school, not a Deere though. They are wicked pieces of machinery. The nice part is you can keep the limb trash wherever you cut the tree instead of having large piles of limbs concentrated in one area. The one I ran had a single joystick that you operated with your right hand and it had 8 rocker switches on it to control different functions. They take a bit to get used to but you can make some wicked time with it.
The company I worked for also had a flywheel start styled B on steel that they used with things got muddy. No matter where you wanted to go it would get you there and no matter how cold or nasty it would always start.
