I wouldn't be the least bit scared to buy it if the price is right. Like other have said, if maintained they'll go a long time. I have two ATV's, one with close to 3,000 miles and one with 2,000 miles and they still look and run like new. Key is, keep them away from stupid kids and mud holes. Mine are 4x4 and have been in places were 4x4 was necessary many times. They have not been in mud over the handle bars with the motor screaming wide open to see how far the mud will fling up into the air.That's the difference.
