I must echo all the sentiments expressed here. Can't stress the message from James H. enough. My brother just died, wanted his "stuff" left on the farm for the heirs to "carry on" where he left off. Unfortunately, as James has expressed, the stuff became part of the estate which had three very different and widespread heirs. Consequently, grandad's "stuff" and stock as well has become part of the estate and will go where all estates go - on the chopping block. Get it legal and in writing while time permits. The grandchildren will thank you.
