Hi Henry! Some of those "shill bidders" are not really. I had so many instances of people bidding up my auctions with zero feedback that I started worrying that I would be accused of this. Many of these are mentally ill people who go on ebay for no other reason than to play with auctions. A full 25% of my first round of auctions was won by these people and they never paid. I don't dare leave them negative feedback because they will simply slam me back when I did nothing. You file a complaint and you get your fees refunded...that is about it. I made a decent return on ebay but only because I was selling items that really cost me nothing. Hard to believe it is worth it to become a power seller.
