I had a leak on the return line on my MF 230 industrial. The line was at the top of the tank. I just cleaned it to shinny metal, used laquor thinner to do a good cleaning, and used JB weld. that was about 8 years ago. Still holding. I have used JB weld also on a aluminum diesel tank stripped drain plug. Diesel doesn't seam to bother JB weld. Stan
