T_Bone, hate to burst your bubble, but one big ingredient in US cigarettes is burley tobacco, air cured. I raised it since I could remember~'60's until the buyout, burley is what gives the better quality cigs the flavor. Problem is, the smoker doesn't know what is in his cig and few companies will tell. Also, if you roll one from the barn and light it, it will go out fairly quickly. Light up a manufactured one, let it burn and it will just about burn to the nub. Makes ya wonder what chemicals are in there that keep it burning. I hate the smell of the cheapo smokes, can't be much burley in there. Makes me wonder if it's the tobacco burning or the chemicals burning that causes health problems. What's the number two cause of lung cancer, according to the docs/researchers? Radon gas. Colorless, odorless, and it comes out of the ground most everywhere.
