I went from 35 to 50 bucks 2 years ago. One breakdown can cost a thousand dollars or more. Lots of folks have told me that there was nothing laying in their fields. Well I hit a whole roll of number 9 woven wire once and strpped the splines out of my stump jumper.

Don't do it for nothing, as you can sit on the porch and make that. I don't see how these guys are doing it for 20 or 25 dollars, that is crazy.
Just figure at 2 gallons of fuel per hour, and your time is worth 25 dollars, so that wouldn't leave anything for your machinery and parts, grease, oil and what have you.
