As long as the check clears before the tractor leaves and funds are in your account you would not have worry on the check part, never let anything leave before a check clears. Dont accept offers to get a cashiers check for over the amount either, they want you to give the excess to the one picking it up and then you run into a bad cashiers check later on, of course same deal goes as long as the item doesn't leave before funds clear and you have money in your account you should be safe. Just my 2 cents worth.
