Just curious why you hated the semi-mounted mowers? We had 4 of them over the last 50+years, a little clumsy to mount but still easier to mount than the Ford 3pt we also had, with its "torsion bars" that had to be clamped onto the 3pt arms. The IH semi-mounts seemed to cut good, didn"t hang-up in the mowed hay, and would turn a 90degree turn if a little brake was applied when steering
