Mark, the 702 did have two sets of points in the same housing,so dual points would be correct :)
The dual points were in the commom box that mounted the twin 6 cyl distributor heads, no points/condenser in the distributor heads, just the rotor and cap for a high voltage rotary switch. I believe each point/condenser set in the common housing switched a seperate coil for each distributor head. I dont know that any of the stock Chevy V8 truck or industrial stuff used dual points. The only one I remember was the iron case corvette unit with mechanical tacometer drive.
