I would go for the truck. Just went to the Custom and Rod show at Glendale Az'z University of Phoenix Collosieum[sp] Friday and saw several real nice 48-52 Ford Trucks but the attention getters were the 41-52 Chevies.Must have been at least a dozen there. Got my attention for sure as I have always been a GM person and especially Chevie. Current ride '05 Chev Impalla 3800 Turbo,Leather[not factory] every thing else optioned it's got it.
