A gallery photo of your item is important as I scan those photos and stop at whatever one catches my eye. When I open up the auction page, I most certainly want to see more than ONE photo of the item. This is important as you can't hold the item in your hand to inspect it as you do at the shows or flea market. I also rely on the sellers condition description and the feedback rating validating his/her successes in their auction expertise.
