JD recommends hyguard for all systems on the 2010, but the final drives are seperate compartments and have to be filled individually. They are of the bull gear and pinion type that with age develop a whining noise. The oil in the final drives does not mix with the hydraulic oil, so 80-90 can be used here to help reduce noise. Also, if equipped with PTO it is also a seperate compartment and uses hyguard.
