One thing to keep in mind. Pre mid 1980's tractors ran the tach off of the camshaft (I believe) so when you ran them at pto rated speed an hour was an hour on the tach but when they were idling an hour was probably only 20 to 30 minutes on the tach. Later tractors have electronic tachs so no matter what you're doing an hour is an hour if it the tractor is just idling. The hours tend to rack up alot faster on those newer tractors. Steve
