I have been selling on ebay for over 5 years and to this day, I do not use Any of their perks and extras that have fees.
The only fees that I ever pay are the Listing Fee (40 cents) and the Final Value Fee based on the winning bid. At the end of each year, The cost of my items + the ebay fees work out to about 17% of my gross sales including the few that don`t sell.
My sell through rate is between 80% and 100% of any group of items that I list.(up to 18 items per group at a time). The only other fee that you as a New seller will be required to pay, is for Pay-Pal payments that are made to you by a winning bidder if they choose to pay that way. New sellers are now required to accept Pay-pal payments.
