Added together with 1207 head in KY and 1153 head in TN would make 2360 head (times 1000 head) or behind Texas but slightly ahead of Missouri in total cow numbers. Worst part is, the hay shortage is even worse down south, particularly in Alabama and Georgia. In a normal year they get a lot of hay trucked in out of TN, but not this year.
