95% of my browsing is now done on Opera. I used to have all sorts of virus, spyware etc problems when using IE but I have abandoned all my antivirus-spyware-adware type defenses since I moved to Opera about a year ago. I now enjoy browsing like I did in the heady days before viruses.
Opera has some nice features for dial-up users. You can see the data-stream, its speed and DIRECTION. One feature that I like is to enlarge a web page and its zoom feature enlarges not only the text but the pictures as well (up to 1000%).
I do use IE for the odd webpage that uses active-x features especially when sending an email. In that case I just switch over to IE, do the reply, then back into Opera.
