Thank you for the in-depth reply, Hal. I'll be able to put your advice to use for sure. I don't know if she "owns" the farm, but she did say she was at the FSA office with her figuring out how to get "in her name." That's huge. I didn't ask about details because I don't want her or her 7 siblings thinking I'm a gold-digger. As far as looks: I think she's beautiful. She's not model material, and she does have some meat on her bones, but she's had a handful of boyfriends so I know other guys think the same thing. Looks aren't real huge for me either, and her personality is irresistable. She's very confident and tougher'n' nails but girly enough in just the right ways. I'm damn lucky she sees something in me. Yes, the first step is her meeting MY family, and then the next step will hopefully be me re-locating. We haven't even started talking seriously about that yet, which is fine. Alright, I'm quittin' before I go any further : )
