Write to Maytag or let wife write to them. We bought a neptune washer and dryer in 1999 or 2000. Started having trouble with in the first year took them 2 months to fix, year later same problem they fixed it under warranty, next year same problem after a bunch of service calls and my wife having to run to laundry mat over and over, she finally wrote a very firm but not nasty letter detailing all the trouble. Two weeks later they called and said they would buy our machine back for $900.00 dollars. I figured it would Maytag credit but it came as a regular check. We cashed it bought a Whirlpool Duet washing machine had it four years, not one service call. Excellent machine, we still have are neptune dryer only replaced a belt and maybe an element. These machines have been used heavily 4 kids 3 now adults all still home. Chuck
