all Jon's advice is correct, particulary the part about the primer. The LP systems need to crank on the vapor and then the converter will vaporize it from then on with the warm coolant. I would add that a magnetic block heater or something like that to help speed up the coolant warming will help. We used LP gas powered fork lifts for years and also a couple of front end loaders. When the operators would crank them up in freezing weather and try to run wide open throttle they froze, then it took lots of hot water poured over them to un freeze the, Above all heed his advice about not racing engine, the regulator/converters will freeze up for sure.
