I had the same problem with my 1845c. When I sent it in for other service I mentioned that my left side was more sluggish than the right. The dealer said that they adjusted a valve and it would be ok, needless to say it wasn't. After several times of them "taking care of it" I pulled the seat and access cover to take a look. It turned out that all I needed to do was adjust the control linkage which I did and I haven't had a problem since. As far as being able to tow or winch, I don't think there is a way to disconnect to freewheel but as I recall if it is moved slow it shouldn't be a problem. I would call a case dealer and ask about winching or towing before doing it so you don't cause damage or more problems. Scott
