I think you have hit on something there. The last few auctions I have been to the pre 1960 stuff seemed to have few buyers. Collectors are collecting the 60's, 70, 80's tractors that they grew up with. Just like muscle cars are hot, the old model T's don't get that much attention. I would say that the really old stuff, and steamers are an exception. But the steamers cost so much to buy and transport, very few individuals can afford them. But the supply is pretty limited, too. If you have something like a 1919 auto cultivator, it's really a piece of history and will probably end up in a museum.
