For some reason. The same vehicle can get more for gallon then others. Like in 1999 I bought a 99 Ford Excort 4 cylinder. Running 65 mph in Missouri area. We.. well wife and I got 39 miles to a gallon that day. But on other days we average 37 to 38 miles. Others I knew with same car and engine got only 30 to 31. I can not explain how it happens but it does! :) Now I see goverment says all must get 35 in near furture. ... Heck I rememeber my dad having a 1954 Cad. that got 18 to 21 back in 1959 and was a better built car then todays. "Hummmmm" Who knows. Have a good day.
