Sounds like an excellent deal, and thats plenty of truck for hauling around a small tractor. With a 4x4 truck you lose a few miles per gallon, but I have had to use it to pull loads starting out offroad. All depends upon your needs, I need a 4x4 for some of the things I do, but if your area doesn't have winters or mud seasons, then a 2wd is problably all you need. I wasn't aware that there was any difference in the cost of insurance beween a 2wd and a 4wd truck and a call to your insurance company would sort that out, they'd be able to tell you exactly how much the insurance would be on that new truck if you were to buy it.
