Last saturday I went back to auto parts/ machine shop to talk to them about bringing block in to get checked before I ordered pistons, and told shop man that I had checked at the counter and they said they couldn't get pistons, so I'd have to get them somewhere else. He said to go back out and talk to Tony and have him check, so I did. He said to check back Monday, couldn't find anything on Sat. Stopped in tonite after work and checked with Tony. He can get pistons, rings, and pins and keepers for $185/ hole. Gasket set for $70. Can't get bearings or bushings for wrist pins if needed. That's cheaper than I had found anywhere else, so I told them as soon as I get the block out, I'll bring it in and let them have at it. Guess it pays to check back with the older guys that know what they are doing. Chris
