We got a call today from a Dukumbo Amoaka? who was looking for new/used grain dryers to export back to West Africa. He "stumbled" onto our company website, and wanted us to make a package deal on 3 used dryers we had in stock, and 4 new ones. He was even nice enough to offer us a little extra ($100,000) to have them dropped off at a NYC port for export, and we would send him a check for the difference of $500,000.
1.) How bad is the weather in Africa that they need grain dryers?
2.) How much wheat/corn, etc are they producing in Africa to require grain dryers with export/shiping costs? I know they may produce some crops, but how many need a dryer?
3.) If you a farmer or importer, don"t you think you would know what capacity you need (Bushels, tons, etc)?
4.) How gullible do they thing we are?
