We got a call today from a Dukumbo Amoaka? who was looking for new/used grain dryers to export back to West Africa. He "stumbled" onto our company website, and wanted us to make a package deal on 3 used dryers we had in stock, and 4 new ones. He was even nice enough to offer us a little extra ($100,000) to have them dropped off at a NYC port for export, and we would send him a check for the difference of $500,000.

1.) How bad is the weather in Africa that they need grain dryers?

2.) How much wheat/corn, etc are they producing in Africa to require grain dryers with export/shiping costs? I know they may produce some crops, but how many need a dryer?

3.) If you a farmer or importer, don"t you think you would know what capacity you need (Bushels, tons, etc)?

4.) How gullible do they thing we are?

Hoee you all enjoyed this lesson as much as I did.

Ya gotta give em credit- they keep coming up with new and different stories to separate us from our money. Can't imagine they are getting many takers anymore, but I guess it only takes one.

Actually they grow a lot more corn in SOUTH Africa than a guy might guess, but its flint corn, not like the dent corn we raise and probably doesn't even need to be artifically dried. I get those deals in my e mail almost every day. Yahoo has a great spam system and I will eventually get them all weeded out(or so I hope.lol, bob
