Video games are not to blame for this. There are only two things to blame for this. Negligent parenting and the media. Because of past media glorification of these terrorists, people like this kid know that they will be remembered and made famous. The best thing the media could have done was not sell their souls to the devil by announcing this to the world. They did exactly what this kid wanted. They made him famous world-wide. Now for bad parenting, why should they sue the video game industry? They're the ones promoting this violence by letting this kid have an assault rifle. This kid has had a history of mental illness and depression and his guardian saw nothing wrong with him having this sort of weapon. Second suing is not the answer. It's just a way to point the blame away from their own negligence. I'm tired of people wanting to sue companies for their kid doing something dumb or in this point terroristic. The government spent over $250,000 on counseling for this kid's depression and mental health. That's why if anything, this guardian should sit in his position as far as punishment goes.
