Yes, it does have a reverser. The loader has not been setting up recently. For the past year and a half I have been operating it at least every two weeks. About two months ago the reverser lever stopped working in the down position, so I left it in the up position and changed movement direction by using the foot pedal clutch and shifting gears. One of the gears reverses direction.(Probably not a smart thing to do but it seemed to work OK.)I don"t know if this info is important but the engine is a diesel and runs great. Serial #13892D
