MrG: Sad but true it was common back in the corn picker days to have arms taken off in half second.......just trying to help get the corn pasdt the rollers.. The safty thing wasn't ingraned as well as today.. Infact it was a bit "macho" to not be as safe as one could be.. Thankful that that is changing.. We had a neighbor who had most of his arm taken off but not all and he had to get his pocket knife out of his pocket with his good hand and cut himself free of his damaged hand still wrapped in the rollers.....grulesome to say the least but he had to do it to get off and get back to the house for help.. HR.....be safe..
