We need to be ready to pre-empt the anti-gun weenie argument. Someone else mentioned it - but we need to consistently make the point that had there been several well-trained and legally-armed people in the crowd the fruitcake may well not have been able to kill 8 inncocent people. I argued that this afternoon and the best the socialists I work with could come back with was that "we'll never know" - well, that's right, but it just might have saved lives to have more people armed and they can't refute the possibility. All they can do is to try to shout you down. I don't know about you, but at 6'2 and 260 pounds I don't get shouted down much.
