I just did that a couple of years ago with our gleaner A combine. It had the buda 230 six cylinder in it. Ours was using a lot of oil and was worn out. We bought one at the junkyard, got it all in and it started very well and ran great but still used a TON of oil. We ended up letting her sit and bought a gleaner K that has the chevy motor in it. Runs very well, has power steering, used no oil, has a much more comfortable cab and ran beans for us very well. I had a 3000 lb capacity air tired forklift to put our engine assembly in. It was very heavy though! Good luck.
