Take a three inch common door henge. Grind enough off of each side so that when it is placed in the gap between the tips it is about 1/4 inch wider when the henge is flat. Bend the henge on its pin so it is narrower then use two adjustable wrenches (one on each side of the henge) to flatten the henge. this will expand and lift the ends of the ring enough to get it out. Weld handles on each side of the henge and sell it to your dealers mechanic. JimN
