Hey guys! Dad has an '03 GMC 2500HD extended cab, long box, 4x4. Has the 8.1L V8 and allison 5-speed. Truck has just over 10,000 miles and is only used for pulling. Now we can;t complain because it doesn't get used that often and it does its job well but we are looking to improve its gas mileage. Truck is all stock with the exception of a K&N Gen. II mass air-intake kit. What would you recommend; programmer, performance chip...? What are the pros and cons of each. Am up for any ideas short of trading for a diesel! Thank you!!!
